Newco Metals, Inc. was founded in 1986 as a metal trading company supplying aluminum billet to the extrusion industry and trading in the primary aluminum industry. In the years that followed, Newco Metals started trading in the automotive and die casting industries and moved their office fourteen miles northeast of Indianapolis to Pendleton, IN. Newco Metals quickly expanded with a 60,000 square foot warehouse and a location in Anderson, IN.
Since 1986…
Newco Metals, Inc. was founded in 1986 as a metal trading company supplying aluminum billet to the extrusion industry and trading in the primary aluminum industry. In 1987, Newco started trading in the automotive and die casting industries and moved its office just northeast of Indianapolis to a 12 acre scrap purchasing, processing and trading facility. Newco quickly expanded from a 10,000 square foot warehouse to a 50,000 square foot warehouse and added 20,000 square feet of concrete for materials processing.
Over the years, Newco has continuously grown, adding equipment including two balers, shake-tables, roll-off and semi trucks, spectrographic and x-ray analysis, radiation detection and surveillance equipment. Most recently, a fraud prevention/inventory control/retail sales system called ScrapDragon was added to further enhance our operations.
